Latinum Europaeum

On 23 June 2025, the Latinum Europaeum diplomas were awarded to S5 Latin students who passed the exam. This test allowed them to prepare for their Baccalaureate exams by taking not only a written exam, in which they had to translate an unknown text, but also an oral exam, which was a completely new experience for them.

The parents of our graduates turned out in large numbers to celebrate their children's success. This ceremony had not been held in such a festive manner since the interruption caused by Covid.

The management's kind support for our initiatives has made our school a flagship for the revival of Latin, thanks to the large number of students and their success in this subject, which was not an easy choice for them.

Of the 11 Latin baccalaureate holders from European Schools, four are from our school. They have perfected their analytical and logical skills and, through the study of texts, acquired a knowledge of Greek and Roman philosophy. This journey has enabled them to develop their critical thinking, because, as Montaigne said, science without conscience is but the ruin of the soul.

Congratulations to all those who have guided and supported our young people with their empathy and expertise, led by our Director, Mrs Malik.
