5th exhibition of Portuguese universities
Last March, the 5th Exhibition of Portuguese Universities took place in our school.
In this event, which was attended by eleven Portuguese Universities, we also had the honour of receiving online the Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education, Ph.D. Teacher Elvira Fortunato and,in situ, the Ambassador, Permanent Representative of Portugal to the European Union, Mr. Pedro Lourtie, the Deputy Director of Secondary School, Mrs. Isabelle Verwilghen, and to close the exhibition the Portuguese Inspector of the European Schools - Secondary Cycle, Mrs. Maria José Bugia. The Representatives of the Parents, Catarina Duarte, Sofia Amor and Bruno Laranjeira were also present.
The event was also attended by two Alumni of the University of Coimbra who shared the great importance that the Institution had in their lives, presenting the University as a second family.
The Jean Monnet room was filled with the S6-S7 students and teachers of the Portuguese section who listened with enthusiasm to what Portuguese Universities have to offer in terms of Innovation, Technology, Research and Quality.
At the end, the students had the opportunity to visit the stands of the Universities in room 419 where they were able to dialogue with the representatives of each University in order to clarify some doubts and/or curiosities.
